Jayne Quam is Navajo. She and her Zuni Native husband, Lynn Quam have partnered for 40 years carving award-winning fetishes. They apprenticed with Lynn’s mother, Annie Quam Gasper, a known jewelry maker and fetish carver. This unique fetish, made of Selenite crystal is believed to have healing properties. It has turquoise inlaid eyes, and an offering with mother-of-pearl, red coral, and turquoise.
