Zuni Fetishes Freddie Leekya Zuni Stone Frog Hiker

Freddie Leekya has created a whimsical, but detailed carving of a frog hiker. This happy fellow is out for a day’s hike, equipped with a backpack and walking stick. It is carved from Zuni stone and turquoise is used for the inlayed eyes, belt and backpack ornamentation, and the belt buckle. The walking stick with its turquoise dots and the shoes’ soles are dark brown glass. Lastly, the figure is wearing a necklace with coral, turquoise and brown glass beads.
