Penobscot Art Pam outdusis Cunningham Plum Basket
This is the favorite of all of Pam Cunningham’s baskets we’ve carried in the past twenty years. The combination of the colors (representing true colors of some urchins found on the Maine coast), the urchin form itself, the star on the finial, and the wool mat representing a sand dollar create a beautiful and most pleasing visual treat.
Materials: ash, sweetgrass, dyes, hand-dyed wool, thread
Basket is 7 inches in diameter x 5 inches high, including finial. Wool sand dollar mat is 8 inches in diameter.
