Santos is known for carving animals taking a step with their front paws. You can just imagine this mountain lion patiently but silently moving closer to the prey. Santos has used unique stones such as Snowflake obsidian and this Bird’s Eye Jasper Rhyolite. The fetish has inlaid turquoise eyes and is nicely polished with lightly etched lines to show the body form. Unfortunately, this talented carver died in 2021 when he was in his 30s and his fetishes rarely come on the market.
