An intriguing birch bark container with a hinged cover and a handle made from antler.
The container is signed on the bottom: JCR Maliseet H.B.M.I “06”; this is the signature f John Robichaud.
16 1/2 inches long x 4 3/4 inches high (not including handle) x 6 3/4 inches deep.
The lashings are artificial sinew; the handle and the clasp are antler; other components are leather. The container is coated with a clear finish.
