Dewey Owle Poplar-Cherry Bowl
Dewey Owle is a wood carver from Cherokee, North Carolina. He uses exotic woods to turn very attractive bowls, often combining two kinds of wood for contrast.
This base of this bowl is poplar wood; the rim is cherry. Beautiful grain in the poplar wood; dark lines in the cherry provide nice contrast.
