Theresa Secord was the founding director of the Maine Indian Basketmakers Alliance. She and the organization helped to revive basket making in Maine, and helped dozens of members of the Wabanaki tribes to learn the art of their ancestors. She is an award-winning basketmaker in her own right.
This is a small basket with curls in natural ash and sweetgrass.
