Ganessa Frey, wife of famed basket maker Jeremy Frey, is an excellent weaver in her own right. As of this writing, she has not been weaving for a few years, so we are getting her baskets from private collections.
The dark colors of this corn basket are quite striking. There is a small amount of fading on the edge of one or two of the leaves, which is not generally visible when the basket is on display.
The basket is 1 3/4 inches in diameter, though the cover, with the leaves, is around 3 inches. It is 1 inches tall.
