Inuit Sculpture Walrus
A wonderful, frolicky walrus, chunky and happy. While many walrus sculpture tusks are made from caribou antler, these are, unusually, made from muskox horn, which adds color and a sense of translucency.
Provenance names the artist as Luktuk, from Kugluktuk, and dates the sculpture to 1976.
