Annie Ainalik of Cape Dorset is known for her multi-sided stone etchings depicting everyday life events, mythical creatures, marine life, and other scenes. This sculpture, carved from serpentine, has a Sedna (sea goddess) swimming alongside a beluga on one side and a seal hunter on the other.
