Eskimo Art Ivory Whale Inlaid Baleen Eye
From the secondary market we have a nicely carved right whale in swimming pose, mounted on a forked antler post, which itself rests on a ccross-section of an ivory tusk.. The small baleen inlaid eye stands in sharp contrast with the creamy ivory.
Whale is 4 1/4 inches long x 1 1/4 inches wide x 1 1/8 inches high; 4 1/8 inches high with stand.
