Large curlycue basket

A grand basket by master basket maker Theresa Neptune Gardner, dated 2000. Gardner was one of the basket makers that helped to keep the art alive.

This basket came from an extensive collection of Wabanaki baskets. It is in excellent condition, with a slight darkening of the ash.

8″ diameter; 9″ high to top of finial.
