Alaskan Eskimo Art Puffin Rookery
A puffin rookery carved from bone, with small ivory stand-alone puffins, larger puffins carved in bas relief from the bone, and an ivory tern floating separately. This is a rather large and unique rendition of this theme, partly because of its size, and partly because of the larger puffins directly into the bone rookery.
Initials LAI are written on the bottom of the vertebra base.
