Pitseolak Qimirpik, of Kimmirut, Nunavut, is a master carver. He is a versatile artist who creates stone sculptures of many different animals, but he is best known for his owls.

This owl is smaller than the average Pits Qimirpik Owl, but his excellence shines through even in this scale. The contrast between the polished and matte finishes is wonderful; the detail in the eyes, beak, and tongue are exceptional.

This is a great fit for the collector who appreciates Qimirpik’s mastery but has limited display space.
