Baje Whitethorne is a very well respected Navajo painter, conveying images of life in the southwest and life among the Navajo.

This is an original, matted water color painting. It depicts a young woman wearing a traditional Navajo skirt and velvet shirt, holding prayer feathers. Her feet seemingly step out of the frame.
