Navajo Jewelry Sterling Silver Beads and Turquoise Necklace
A sterling silver pendant with a JC hallmark on a necklace of sterling silver beads. The pendant is a shadow-box style, with a very narrow gap between the bezel and the surrounding silver geometric designs. The turquoise is a beautiful bright blue color.
JC is a hallmark used by Navajo artist Jesse Claw, though we don’t have the provenance to state this for certain. The beads and the pendant have a nice patina; they have all been lightly cleaned, but the buyer can choose to give them a deeper cleaning to restore the original sheen of silver.
Necklace is 23 inches long; pendant is 2 inches high including bail x 2 1/2 inches wide. CA 4th quarter 20th century.
