The Navajo were the first southwestern tribes to create turquoise and silver belt buckles. Dating to the 1960s or 1970s, the natural turquoise is possibly Kingman or Bisbee in origin.

This belt buckle has a genuine patina for an aged “look” that is as authentic as it is Native American; the buckle can be polished by the purchaser if desired. Though not explicitly marked, it tests as sterling silver.
