Frances (Gal) Frey, mother of basket makers Jeremy Frey and Gabriel Frey, is also an accomplished Passamaquoddy basket maker in her own right.

Frey has won awards for her work at the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market as well as the Santa Fe Indian Market (SWAIA).

This natural ash color basket is in pristine shape, with light color to the ash and fresh looking braided sweetgrass in pleasant patterns.
