An intriguing mask in the shape of an animal shape: a fox? The human face, carved from antler and inlaid in the mouth area, represents the inua, or spirit of the animal. Animals are considered to have a spirit similar to humans. Inlaid eyes carved from walrus tusk with baleen inlay.
