Stainless Steel Zuni Bracelet Native American Artist Carlton Jamon
Carlton Jamon Stainless Steel Bracelet
This bracelet is carved from stainless steel with a high-tech laser cutter. The geometric shapes are cut out to create a very pleasing design, with traditional shapes that have a contemporary flair.
The bracelet has a beautiful, soft, matte finish. Because it is made from stainless steel, and because so much of the steel has been cut away, the bracelet is much lighter than you would expect.
Bracelet has an inside circumference of 6 3/4″; it has a 1 1/4″ opening. It is 1/2″ wide and 1/8″ thick.
[title text=”Carlton Jamon, Zuni” style=”bold_center”]
Carlton Jamon is a Zuni artist who has been making fine jewelry for a number of years. He is known for his hollow sterling silver bears with heartlines, either as a separate pendant, or integrated with stones and silver beads. He is also a contemporary artist who experiments with different forms, techniques (laser cutting), and materials (titanium and stainless steel).
Jamon is not one to be stereotyped as a Native American artist. He is a contemporary artist who is deeply influenced, but not limited, by his Zuni roots.
