Vintage Ivory Doll Head
This head is said to have belonged to a doll at one point. With a hole in its head (perhaps not an uncommon situation these days), it probably was designed with a hat or a head of hair, long ago lost. This is a highly uncommon item, larger than any doll’s head we have seen, and carved with apparently Caucasian features.
C. early to mid 20th century.
2 5/8 in. high x 1 3/16 in. wide (at base) x 2 in. deep (at base).
