Peter Boome Weaver’s Moon Serigraph

“There is a story in the Northwest of two sisters who married stars. While in the heavens, they were unhappy and wove a rope to climb back down to the earth. When they came back to earth, they discovered one of the sisters was pregnant. She gave birth to a sun. The son was neither of the heavens nor of earth; it was the moon. The moon remains in the sky watching over the people.
