Ivory Eskimo Fox

A handsome fox carved from fresh walrus tusk, mounted on a base of old, or “fossil” ivory. The base is likely the remnant of an ancient tool or utilitarian item that was excavated or emerged in recent times.

Carving is not signed and probably dates from the late 20th century or early 21st century

Fox is 3 inches long x 5/8 inches high; including the base, dimensions are 4 inches long x 2 inches wide x 1 5/8 inches high.
