Dewey Owl is a wood carver from Cherokee, North Carolina. He uses exotic woods to turn very attractive bowls, often combining two kinds of wood for contrast.

This base of this bowl is made from box elder wood; the rim is bloodwood. The wormholes and other markings give this bowl character unlike any other bowl.
