A very handsome wolf, carved by Zuni artist and matriarch Lena Boone. Boone is a well respected carver who pioneered use of glass among Zuni artists. She mentors and helps many young people, some of whom have become good artists in their own right.
This wolf is carved from beautiful green turquoise with rich brown matrix. It is adorned with a shell arrowhead offering as well as turquoise and coral beads.
